International Students can study at FEMA for 1 or 2 semesters as part of an exchange program agreed between FEMA and the foreign university.

Some Computer Science classes are offered in English, for 3rd and 4th year students, see the list here.
All other classes are offered in Portuguese.
Required Documents
– Application form;
– Letter from the Home University approving the student’s enrolment at FEMA as an exchange student;
– Motivation Letter, written by the candidate, mentioning the programs to be taken at FEMA;
– Enrolment Letter from the Home University;
– Passport photocopy;
– Student’s Curriculum Vitae.
Choice of Courses
Interviews are not required during the admission process. However, a meeting with the Coordinator of the chosen Program may be arranged in order to obtain assistance in choosing the classes at FEMA.
Certificate of Studies
At the end of each semester, the student will receive a certificate stating the programs taken, the attendance, and grades obtained. There is a possibility of credit transfer. However, this should be checked with the Home University.
Tuition Fees
Exchange students may have their tuition fees waived at FEMA, in accordance to the Exchange Agreement between FEMA and the foreign University.
Student Visa
International students must hold a valid and appropriate Visa in order to enrol at FEMA. After the application is approved, our office will issue a document, which must be presented to the Brazilian Consulate. This document is required for the Student Visa application.
