FEMA hosts Visiting Researchers (“Visitors Program”) from around the world.
The “Visitors Program” allows successful applicants to spend up to a full academic year at FEMA.
A Visiting Researcher is generally a Professor from another foreign institution. During the length of stay, the Visiting Researcher will be expected to undertake team teaching and joint research with counterparts at FEMA.
Applicants of the “Visitors Program” should be affiliated with a foreign university, research institute, or governmental program within their home country.
Application Materials
To apply for the “Visitors Program”, applicants should submit a:
- Curriculum Vitae;
- Outline of intended research project at FEMA;
- Letter of motivation;
- Two letters of recommendation;
- Proposed dates of stay;
- In addition, all applicants must submit a letter from a FEMA Faculty member indicating the willingness to supervise the proposed research project.
Tuition and Expenses
Visiting Researchers from partner institutions of FEMA pay no fees. This is in accordance with the exchange agreement between FEMA and the foreign University.
